We're so excited to welcome the Upper West Side to Sisu Clinic. Our newest Manhattan home is at 2301 Broadway, and Botox and Dysport are the treatments most of our UWS patients are booking first. Here's the simple version of what we do: small, careful doses of Botox or Dysport, placed by a licensed nurse practitioner injector, to gently soften the lines that come from frowning, raising your brows or smiling. The goal isn't to change your face. It's to help you look like you slept well, every day. At Sisu Upper West Side, your full Botox treatment is $495. That includes:

  • A complimentary consultation with your injector
  • Treatment of your three main upper-face areas — forehead, frown lines (the '11s') and crow's feet
  • Treatment by a licensed medical professional under doctor-led supervision
  • A free two-week follow-up appointment to check your results and refine if needed
No hidden per-unit fees. No upselling. No pressure. One clear price for the full treatment. Bookings are now open.

Botox and Dysport are the most-requested treatments at our Upper West Side clinic, and the most misunderstood. They're not about changing how you look. They're about taking the edge off the everyday tension that shows up on your face — the line between your brows from staring at a screen, the forehead crease that's there before you've even spoken, the small etch around your eyes that you only notice in photos. A few minutes, a handful of tiny injections, and the muscles that create those lines gently soften. Two weeks later, you look like yourself, just less tired.

Botox Timeline

Click a milestone to explore your journey

Day 1: Your treatment day

Welcome to the start of your Botox journey! Your practitioner administers precise, targeted injections. The treatment itself takes just 10–15 minutes. You may notice tiny bumps at the injection sites — completely normal and temporary.

Day 3: Subtle tightness kicks in

You'll start to notice a gentle tightness as the Botox begins working. Your skin feels firmer to the touch. This is the treatment settling in — a sign things are moving in the right direction!

Day 7: Smoothing out begins

By day 7, wrinkles and fine lines begin visibly smoothing out. This is often when patients first notice a real difference in the mirror. The full effect is still developing — the best is yet to come.

1–3 Months: Peak results & compliments!

You're glowing! This is the sweet spot — full results are in, skin looks refreshed and naturally smooth. Expect compliments from friends who can't quite put their finger on why you look so good.

3–4 Months: Time for your next appointment

As Botox naturally metabolises, movement gradually returns. This is the perfect time to book your next session to maintain your results. Regular treatments can also train muscles over time for longer-lasting effects.

Your Questions

Answered By Your Doctor

How much does Botox cost on the Upper West Side?

At Sisu Upper West Side, Botox is $495 for a full treatment. That covers your forehead lines, frown lines (the '11s' between your brows) and crow's feet — the three areas most people want treated. Your $495 also includes:
  • A free consultation before your treatment
  • Treatment by a licensed nurse practitioner injector
  • A free two-week follow-up to check your results and adjust if needed
Most clinics on the Upper West Side charge per unit, which means you don't actually know your final cost until the injection is finished. We do it differently: one clear price, three areas, all-inclusive. Other Botox treatments (like jaw slimming, lip flips, gummy smile, chin smoothing or underarm sweating) are priced separately and will be shared at your consultation. Sisu's pricing is the same across all four of our New York clinics — UWS, Upper East Side, Flatiron and SoHo.

Is Botox safe?

Botox has been FDA-approved for cosmetic use since 2002 and has been used clinically for decades. When administered by a licensed medical professional in appropriate doses, side effects are typically mild and short-lived: small bruises, minor headache, brief tenderness. Significant side effects are rare and almost always linked to inappropriate dosing or non-medical injectors. At Sisu UWS, every treatment is performed by a licensed nurse practitioner under medical leadership.

Will Botox make me look frozen?

Not at our clinic. ‘Frozen’ is a result of overdosing relative to your muscle strength. We routinely under-dose first-time patients and adjust at the two-week check rather than over-treating up front. The Sisu house style is movement preserved, lines softened.

Botox vs Dysport — which one should I get?

Both are excellent. Dysport tends to start working a couple of days faster and can spread slightly more, which makes it useful for larger areas like the forehead. Botox is the most studied and most familiar. Your injector at Sisu UWS will help you choose based on the area, the result you’re after, and how you’ve responded to treatment in the past. Many patients comfortably alternate or use both.

Can I have Botox if I’ve had filler before?

Yes. Botox and filler are commonly combined and address different concerns. Filler restores volume and shape; Botox relaxes muscle activity. We will check the timing of any recent filler at your consultation.

How often should I get Botox?

Most patients return every 3 to 4 months. Patients with stronger muscles or higher activity levels may return slightly sooner; some patients stretch to 5 months. We never recommend over-treating just because the calendar says so — if you’re still relaxed at month 4, your appointment can wait.

What to expect at your Sisu UWS Botox appointment

Your first Botox or Dysport appointment at Sisu Upper West Side typically runs 20 minutes.

Consultation
You’ll meet your injector and walk through what’s actually bothering you. We’ll examine your face at rest and in animation, identify which muscles are responsible for which lines, and build a plan that matches your goals — whether that’s ‘soften my 11s’ or ‘full preventative plan, please.’

Treatment
Treatment itself takes around 10 minutes. The injections feel like brief, fine pinches. We use the smallest gauge needles and ice or topical numbing where useful. You’ll see the markings before we inject so you know exactly what’s happening.

Aftercare
You can return to your day immediately. The standard rules:
  • No lying flat for 4 hours
  • No strenuous exercise for the rest of the day
  • No facials, saunas or steam rooms for 24 hours
  • Try not to rub the treated areas
Mild redness or pinpoint bruising is possible but usually settles within 24 to 48 hours.

Two-week check-in
We follow up at the two-week mark to assess your result. If anything needs a small adjustment, it’s done at no charge.

Areas we treat at Sisu Upper West Side

  • Forehead lines — Horizontal lines across the forehead, caused by the frontalis muscle lifting the brows. We treat the forehead carefully and conservatively, often with smaller doses than you’d expect, to preserve natural movement.
  • Frown lines (the ‘11s’) — The vertical lines between your brows. These are usually the first place patients notice ageing, and the first place to respond to Botox.
  • Crow’s feet — The fine lines that fan out from the outer corners of your eyes when you smile. Treated gently, the eyes still smile — they just don’t crease as deeply.
  • Bunny lines — The diagonal creases that appear on either side of the bridge of your nose when you scrunch.
  • Lip flip — A small dose of Botox along the upper lip border to subtly roll the lip outward, giving the appearance of fuller lips without filler. Particularly popular with patients who want a soft enhancement before committing to filler.
  • Gummy smile — A few precise units to relax the muscles that lift the upper lip, reducing the amount of gum visible when you smile.
  • Chin (mentalis) — Botox into the chin muscle softens dimpling and the ‘orange peel’ texture that can develop with age.
  • Masseter (jaw slimming) — Botox into the masseter muscles slims the lower face, gives a softer jawline, and is also a clinical treatment for teeth grinding (bruxism). Results build over 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Neck bands and Nefertiti lift — Botox into the platysma bands and along the jawline can soften vertical neck bands and provide a subtle lifting effect along the lower face.
  • Hyperhidrosis (underarm sweating) — Botox is FDA-approved for severe underarm sweating, with results lasting up to 6 to 9 months. A common request from UWS patients in the city heat.
