Can I bring my Pet to my Appointment?

For the safety and comfort of all patients, we do not allow pets or emotional support animals in the clinic. However, trained service dogs that assist individuals with disabilities are welcome, as required by law. We may ask if the dog is needed due to a disability and what task it has been trained to perform.

Can I buy products online?

Unfortunately, our skincare range isn't available for online purchase in the U.S.A. region at this moment, it is only available in the Republic Of Ireland. However, you can find these products in our clinics, and we're excited to share that they will be available online for the U.S.A, very soon. Stay tuned for updates!

Who performs your treatments?

At our facility, all of our treatments are performed by highly qualified healthcare professionals. We have Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Advanced Practice Nurses, each with a valid state license. Rest assured, you're in good hands with our dedicated team!

Is financing available?

Are there any pre-treatment instructions I have to follow?

Prior to your treatment, please: Avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and high doses of vitamin E for 7-10 days to reduce the risk of bleeding and bruising. Refrain from alcohol for 24 hours before to minimize bleeding and bruising. Do not wax, bleach, tweeze, or use hair removal creams in the treatment area. Take Tylenol (if not contraindicated) 1 hour before for discomfort. Notify us a week in advance if you have a history of facial cold sores. Avoid sun exposure to prevent sunburn. Disclose all medications and medical history to your provider.

How do the treat points work?

Our Treat Points program is our way of thanking you for choosing Sisu. Once you're a patient, you'll receive a Treat Card. For every dollar spent with us, you earn points. Once you reach 6,000 points or more, you can redeem them for free treatments. It's that simple! Just keep in mind that free treatments are based on accrued points and are subject to change. Can I combine my referral discount with any treatment?

Do you offer parking at your facility?

If I book a consultation, can I do my treatment on the same day?

Yes, absolutely! If we have availability and you meet the qualifications for the treatment, you can proceed with your treatment on the same day as your consultation. Do you take health insurance?

Unfortunately, we do not accept health insurance as we are an aesthetic facility. However, we offer various payment options to make our treatments accessible and convenient for you. Your satisfaction and comfort are our top priorities, and we're here to assist you every step of the way!

Can I book a review/touch-up after 2 weeks of my original treatment?

Our protocol includes a review appointment two weeks after your Botox/Dysport treatment. This timing ensures the product has reached its full effect, allowing us to address any concerns and confirm your satisfaction. We want to make sure your expectations are met, and this follow-up is the perfect opportunity for that. If you schedule beyond this window, it might be considered a new treatment, but we’re here to support you throughout your aesthetic journey. Additional units can be purchased at $11.25/unit if needed during your review appointment.

Can I bring my child/children with me into the clinic?

We kindly request that parents or guardians arrange childcare prior to their appointment, as we are unable to perform treatments while children are present in the clinic. How do influencer discount codes work at Sisu Clinic?

Vouchers can be used in any of our nationwide clinics for treatments such as Anti-Wrinkle Injections, Fillers, Profhilo, Sculptra, Thread Lifts, and more. Key Terms & Conditions: Vouchers can only be used toward treatments valued at €300 or more. Only one voucher can be applied per treatment. Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the purchase date. Anti-Wrinkle

How long do anti-wrinkle injections last?

Anti-wrinkle injections typically last around 3 months, especially in patients who are just starting. The results may vary depending on your activity levels and metabolism. However, the more anti-wrinkle injections you receive throughout your life, the fewer treatments you may need as your muscles become conditioned to the treatment.

What can I expect after my Anti-Wrinkle treatment?

Anti-Wrinkle treatment is a great way to remove fine lines and wrinkles, and prevent future skin ageing. Results are generally first visible after 14 days from your date of treatment. Immediately after your treatment, you may notice small red bumps caused by the injections to the treated area. Additionally, you may experience a mild headache, as well as temporary mild redness, bruising, and swelling, which will typically go away within 24 hours.

Dermal Filler

What to avoid after dermal fillers?

After you're done with your dermal filler procedure at Sisu Clinic, you should avoid alcohol and aspirin for at least 24 hours post-treatment. Avoid vigorous exercise and excessive heat for up to 48 hours post-treatment. It is also recommended to avoid using makeup for 12 hours after your treatment.

Do dermal fillers make you age faster?

Dermal fillers are a smart option to visibly slow down the ageing process and make your skin appear fuller and more radiant. However, it is important you seek out a reputable clinic, like Sisu, that uses high-quality fillers and only employs trained medical professionals. Clinics that use lower quality products or administer with improper techniques can potentially speed up the skin’s ageing process or cause complications for patients.

What are the side effects of dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. This can be injected into facial lines, folds, and tissues to restore facial volume that may decrease with age. Additionally, dermal fillers can be used to add structure to your face, such as the jawline or nose. Dermal fillers pose few risks or side effects. However, the most common side effects include bruising, swelling, and minor redness around the injected site. These usually resolve within the first 24 to 48 hours.

How long do dermal fillers last?

Dermal fillers can last from 6 to 12 months, but the duration depends on where the fillers are placed. In areas such as your jawline, under-eye, or nose, dermal fillers can last anywhere from 9 to 12 months. Dermal filler in areas such as your lips generally don’t last as long because there is more muscle movement around the mouth. Dermal filler in the lips typically lasts 6 to 9 months.

Sculptra

Does Sculptra® Work?

In short: yes! There have been many studies that have tested Sculptra® to examine its safety and effectiveness. A clinical trial published in 2008 found that Sculptra® continues to improve the quality of the skin for 13 months post-treatment. The researchers injected Sculptra® into the nasolabial folds for this study. Another study, this time published in 2003, found that Sculptra® led to a three-fold increase in skin thickness, which was sustained for over two years. A final study we’ll look at, this time published in 2020, examined the various studies conducted on Sculptra® to draw some conclusions on its safety and efficacy. The researchers concluded that it is an effective skin treatment, caused by collagen stimulation which continues to improve over time.

Is Sculptra® safe?

Yes; Sculptra® is a safe and effective aesthetic treatment. As with many treatments, it is not recommended for patients with certain allergies or medical conditions. Your Sisu medical provider will discuss Sculptra® treatments thoroughly with you to determine if it suits your needs and answer any questions you might have during your free consultation.

What is Sculptra® for?

Sculptra® is used to diminish wrinkles, fine lines, and folds, and restore lost volume in the face that can result from age, illness, or other causes by helping to stimulate your skin’s natural collagen production both during and after treatment.

How long does Sculptra® last?

Sculptra® treatments are designed to promote continuous collagen production so that your skin continues to improve in appearance over time, long after treatment. Results can last up to two years!

Permanent Fat Reduction

How long does non-surgical permanent fat reduction last?

Permanent fat reduction at Sisu Clinic is the faster, non-invasive alternative to liposuction and plastic surgery. The active ingredient used in treatment is synthetic deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring chemical in the human body to help break down and absorb dietary fat. This treatment tackles our fat cells and permanently removes them. This treatment is permanent though patients must also watch their diet and maintain a regular exercise regimen in order to maximise results.

I’ve heard permanent fat reduction can be painful. Is it?

You’ve heard right. Treatments that use deoxycholic acid as the active medicine can be very painful (akin to the level of pain experienced with a wasp bite). However, at Sisu Clinic, we have created a compound formula using deoxycholic acid and a local anaesthetic (numbing) agent to eliminate the pain experienced during the treatment.

Which areas can permanent fat reduction treatments be applied to

The permanent fat reduction treatment can be performed on every area of the body. This is most commonly used to treat the chin area, chest, abdomen, back, arms, hips, legs, and ankles. Your Sisu provider will be able to answer any specific questions you have about treating your desired target areas and will address these questions during your free treatment consultation.

Who are good candidates for permanent fat reduction treatment?

How long does non-surgical permanent fat reduction last?

Thread Lifts

Is there any downtime with a thread lift?

Sisu Thread lifts provide a great non-surgical way to tighten sagging skin, and even better, there is minimal downtime after the procedure. The locations in which the threads are placed will take a few days to heal, so you may experience redness and a “tight” sensation around the treated area. If you have any concerns, please contact your medical provider.

How long does a thread lift last?

At Sisu Clinic, face and neck thread lifts renew the skin while also stimulating collagen formation, making your skin appear firmer, denser, and "bouncier." The threads are absorbed by the skin in your face and neck after the first 6-9 months, but you will continue to notice the results for 18 to 24 months, during which time your skin will heal and rejuvenate from the inside out.

What is a PDO thread lift?

Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are extremely thin, medical grade, synthetic, monofilament sutures made from a polymer of paradioxanone and are safely absorbed by the human body over time. Sisu’s skilled medical professionals utilise these threads to perform face and neck lifts. The threads are pulled through tiny needles to help prevent the effects of volume loss, sagging, and skin quality degradation caused by the ageing process. Who is not a good candidate for under-eye filler?

Are under-eye fillers worth it?

Which filler is best for under eyes?

How long do under-eye fillers last?

Sisu Clinic’s under-eye filler treatment is designed to rejuvenate and refresh the hollow, dark under-eye area that can often make you appear tired and worn out. The treatment is performed using dermal fillers containing hyaluronic acid. Typically, when the filler is injected into the under-eye area it can last anywhere from 9 to 12 months. With Sisu's under-eye treatment, there is minimal downtime, and the treatment itself is relatively painless.

Gummy Smile

Will lip fillers help correct a gummy smile?

Lip fillers cannot correct a gummy smile. At Sisu Clinic, a lip augmentation treatment is used to add volume and definition to your lip area however, it will not remedy overexposed gums.

Will the treatment for gummy smile hurt?

All treatments performed at Sisu Clinic are non-invasive and relatively quick and painless procedures. Most patient who receive treatment for gummy smile do not encounter any complications, and any side effects reported are generally minimal and resolve on their own within 24 hours. As always, please contact your medical provider if you have questions or concerns.

Is the treatment for gummy smile permanent?

Non-invasive treatments are not permanent no matter how and what they are used to treat. In most cases, patients will enjoy the results of the treatment for gummy smile for up to 3 months. The treatment can then be repeated every 3-4 months, depending on your desired results and your medical provider’s recommendation.

How does the treatment help correct a gummy smile?

Sisu Clinic’s gummy smile treatment is designed to relax the muscles in the upper lip so the lip no longer rests high on the gumline, which is what causes a “gummy smile”.
