Laura McCowan, MD — Dr Laura McCowan is an experienced medical doctor and aesthetic practitioner based in Belfast. A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, she trained in aesthetics at Kingsbridge while working as an NHS doctor across Northern Ireland. Laura specialises in subtle, natural enhancements using dermal fillers, skin boosters, and Sculptra. Her patient-centred philosophy focuses on refining and balancing each client’s unique features to boost confidence and celebrate authentic beauty.
Niall McEnhill, BDS — Dr Niall McEnhill brings more than 10 years of dental experience and an expert understanding of facial anatomy to Sisu Clinic Mayfair. Imana Khalique, MD — Dr. Imana Khalique brings a rare combination of clinical rigour and an artist's eye to her work at Sisu's Mayfair and Hampstead clinics. Trained at Norwich Medical School with a Masters in Clinical Education and a Level 7 Diploma from the Harley Academy, she approaches every patient with the same guiding principle: enhance your natural beauty, preserve what makes you you. Edel Shields, MD — Dr Edel Shields is an aesthetic medical practitioner and dentist with more than twenty years of medical experience. After completing her degree in dentistry from the Queen's University of Belfast, Dr Edel progressed her career into aesthetic medicine, joining Sisu Clinic in 2019. Her speciality is non-surgical rhinoplasty. Dr Edel is based primarily out of Sisu’s Belfast clinic location.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. James and Dr. Brian Cotter worked as general surgeons and internists in Irish hospitals, and part-time in off-site clinics for cosmetic procedures. During this time, they were disturbed to see many clinicians prioritizing profits over patients, using unqualified providers. Motivated by their medical oath to first, do no harm, the brothers established a practice focused on medical expertise and patient-centered aesthetic care.
