Our History
Since its inception, Sisu Clinic has strived to create a personalised approach to patient care and unparalleled service centered on establishing a dynamic partnership between patients and their practitioners. Founded in 2018 by medical co-founders Dr. James Cotter and Dr. Brian Cotter and serial tech entrepreneur, Pat Phelan, Sisu has focused on safely bringing advancements in aesthetic medicine to the masses.
The Cotter Brothers began their aesthetics journey in 2014 with a clinic group named 'Visage'.
Sisu was founded in 2018 by Dr. James, Brian & CEO Pat Phelan.

Our Beginning
Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. James Cotter and Dr. Brian Cotter found themselves balancing their work as general surgeons and internists in Irish hospitals by day while treating a growing number of patients for cosmetic procedures at off-site clinics part-time. During this period, the brothers were appalled to observe that many area clinicians were putting profits before patients by offering treatments from unqualified providers with little to no training. Called by their medical oath to first, do no harm, the brothers felt compelled to evoke a change in the industry, to put medical expertise and patients first.
